The under investment on Crawley’s roads is plain to see. For years, Crawley has suffered from under investment by our Tory  County Council. We think it's time for change!

Tories deny Crawley of free swimming!

Millions across England will be enjoying free swimming thanks to Labour, and 82 per cent of Councils have signed up in a major drive to get England more active – but not here in Crawley. Tory Crawley Borough Council has refused this scheme, which would cost just 1p per week for every council tax payer.

Crawley's Labour Club!

Cllr. John Mortimer was instrumental in the building of the Labour Supporter's Club here in Crawley, and has kindly

put together a history for our voters.

Cllr. Geraint Thomas

Successfully chosen to represent Northgate, Geraint promises to help residents and work with the community to make Northgate a better place.

  Brenda Smith

County Councillor

I am proud to have represented Langley Green for 18 years on Crawley Borough Council and I'm very keen to take that experience to WSCC to work for West Green and Langley Green.

I am married to Jim Smith who has been the CountyCouncillor for West Green and Langley Green for 12 years. Now that he has retired I would be very honoured to take on the role of serving West Green and Langley Green at County Hall.

Langley Green and West Green Primary Schools need replacing now with modern buildings providing first class learning facilities for our children. Our Pavements are in an appalling state with uneven surfaces making tripping hazards a serious concern for our senior residents.

I pledge to work tirelessly for both Langley Green and West Green.

  Geraint Thomas

Borough Councillor

I am Geraint Thomas your Labour Party candidate and lifetime Crawley resident.  I have always wanted to serve Crawley as a councillor.

I introduced myself to hundreds of Northgate residents when I campaigned as the Labour candidate in June’s County Council elections, and delighted to have been successful in the October by-election.

I believe that an elected councillor should be there to help residents and to work with the community to make Northgate a better place.

I used to teach geography at Hazelwick and other local schools and have become a GCSE geography examiner, taken up singing and am learning to play cello as well as gardening at home and growing vegetables on my allotment. I am also active in supporting the NHS locally as a member of the Surrey and Sussex Healthcare Trust Patients Council.
