Crawley Youth Group - C.Y.G.

From holding their own meetings on a monthly basis, helping with local fundraising events, and assisting with leafleting & canvassing –encouraging 16-20 year olds to join CYG and get involved with the Labour Party could prove to be a significant factor in the direction of our party.

Labour is proud of many things it has achieved to make life better for Crawley residents over the last eleven years. It is proud of the minimum wage and working tax credits which has helped hundreds of families in this town. We are also proud of the money made available for the Fastway system and the investment made to improve local schools. And don’t forget that it was Labour who provided impressive local facilities such as K2.

• It is crucial that we recognise younger members in our community to be a key element of Labour’s future success.

• 16-20 year olds will not only provide an invaluable input into local and national issues, but can also demonstrate the enthusiasm, drive, and energy to make a difference.
